Wild Waves Theme & Water Park announced it will reopen to the public June 18. After closing due to COVID-19, Wild Waves officials say they’re excited to reopen this summer.
“The park has prepared a vigorous health and safety protocol designed to provide Washingtonians with a safe, close-to-home way to get outdoors and make new memories,” according to a Wild Waves press release.
Season Passes and tickets purchased in 2020 will be honored this year. In addition, the park is still required to have capacity restrictions and all guests are required to make a reservation online prior to June 18 through June 30. And, as restrictions and guidelines eased, it will reevaluate and work toward resuming normal operations.
Upon its June reopening, face masks will not be required for fully vaccinated people and will not be required when in the water or using the water slides. Social distancing will be required among all visitors.
“Our team is counting down the days and has put an incredible amount of time and planning into preparing Wild Waves for the 2021 season and we are ready to welcome guests with safe, clean, outdoor entertainment,” Jody Kneupper, park president at Wild Waves Theme & Water Park, said in the release. “We want guests to know how excited we are to have them back. We encourage everyone to visit WildWaves.com when planning their outing, looking for a job, or grabbing the best deal on tickets.”
Early season pass processing will take place June 3- 5, 10-12, and 16-17 from 4-7 p.m. and feature a new drive-thru process.
