Tim McGraw Rocks Out in Puyallup

The crows ignited when he sang “ain't nothing in the whole wide world like a Washington girl.”

“I had a barbecue stain on my white t-shirt … ” Alright, so maybe that’s not true, but that line was recited more than once during Tim McGraw’s performance at The Washington State Fair on Sunday. The country music giant opened to a cheering full house, backed by his talented band who played a dizzying array of instruments throughout the evening. After nearly 30 years of making country music, McGraw put on an energy-filled show that would rival the youngest of pop stars, spending plenty of time on the floor amongst the audience while singing. He played songs new and old, and, of course, all of his hits like “Indian Outlaw,” “Live Like You Were Dyin,’” and “Southern Girl,” which ignited the crowd when he proclaimed “ain’t nothing in the whole wide world like a Washington girl”.

McGraw’s concert was only one of the first of an exciting month of country, and otherwise, shows set to happen at this years fair:
