Environmental Fun for Tacoma Kids

The City of Tacoma, Metro Parks Tacoma and Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department are offering a free opportunity to get kids 5 and up excited about composting and keeping the waters of Puget Sound clean. Come enjoy music, healthy snacks, crafts and environmental fun at the Tacoma Nature Center for two nights this July. The first will be 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Wednesday, July 11th and will explore Worms & Dirt Up-Close where you will find out how garden soil is made, and who makes it. The second will be on July 18th at the same time and is called Drain Rangers: Learn how to keep water clean and earn your Drain Ranger badge.

Register by contacting the Tacoma Nature Center at 253.591.6439.
