Tacoma Little Theatre Presents ‘Hanukkah Lights in the Big Sky’

Tacoma Little Theatre will present Hanukkah Lights in the Big Sky, written by Buffy Sedlachek and directed by Melanie Gladstone, via YouTube on Saturday, Dec. 19.

Based on true events that occurred in Billings, Montana in 1993, the play centers around the message of tolerance and peace. “When a brick is thrown at a menorah set in a child’s window for Hanukkah, community leaders of all faiths come together,” according to the Tacoma Little Theatre press release. “With the help of school children, 10,000 families display menorahs in their windows for Christmas in solidarity.”

Hanukkah Lights in the Big Sky features Amelia Becker, Curtis Beech, Margaux Berwitt, Jack Burns, Eric Clausell, Susan Gault, Martin Goldsmith, Evie Merrill, Thea Ramirez, J. Simmons, Jennifer Torrence, and Lissa Valentine.

The live virtual performance will be free on Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. with donations accepted. To learn more about the performance, click here. To view the performance on YouTube, click here.
