The Tacoma Art Museum and Harmon Brewing Co. are teaming up in honor of Andy Warhol. The Tacoma Art Museum is currently featuring paintings, drawings and photographs from Warhol’s “Flowers” collection. The exhibition runs until Feb. 10, and to celebrate Warhol’s passion for flowers, Harmon has created “Hop Art Ale,” a seasonal IPA blended with rose hips, hibiscus, lavender and chamomile. Only 35 cases of the ale were bottled, and it can be found on tap at The Harmon Restaurant, The Hub, The Tap Room and at the Tacoma Art Museum’s Relish Café. Bottles sell for $6. Since 1998, the Tacoma Art Museum and Harmon have worked together on numerous projects and unique seasonal beers.
The Tacoma Art Museum is open Wednesday-Sunday from 10-5, Thursdays from 10-8, and the third Thursday of every month is free from 5-8.
Admission is $10 for adults, $8 discounted, and children under 5 get in for free. Buy a family ticket for two adults and up to four children under 18 for just $25!
