Live music resonating in your ears, people dancing in the summer sun, the aroma of food wafting in the air — can you even remember the feeling? Opportunities to experience live music have been especially gradual to return; this July, T-Town Rocks Music Festival offers a chance to appreciate its joys again.
Featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Sir Mix-a-Lot and local artists Ruthie Craft and The BGP band, the festival will take place July 3 from 2-10 p.m. at The Waterfront Venue. Guests can arrive by boat at the docs of Narrows Marina or by car. Street-vendor-themed food options will be catered by The Vault Catering and a variety of drinks will be available for purchase, including beer brewed by Narrows Brewing Co.
Multiple ticket options are available: general admission, VIP, and VIP table experience for groups. All proceeds will benefit seven local non-profits, including Graduate Tacoma, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, and Tacoma Rescue Mission.
“We wanted to bring back positivity and uplift our local community not only through live music but also by giving back. Each founding member is choosing their local charity to benefit and all proceeds will be distributed out to the organizations,” said T-Town Rocks event organizer Jen Smith.
