Support a Local Fashion Designer’s Dream

We first wrote about Bri Seeley of Lacey in our 2011 August/September issue. She blew us away with her talent and unyielding drive to make it in the fashion business. In 2011 she was transitioning out of her day job to design full time and start living her dream.

“My biggest obstacle is that I just need to take that leap, and it’s a scary one, it’s not an easy one, but if you have faith in yourself … it will happen,” she said.

Now, she’s about to jump. In just over a year she’s reached new heights of success. She was personally invited to show her new collection of women’s fashion, Escape, at LA Style Fashion Week in October. Thrilled by the opportunity Seeley is determined to make it to LA, but she needs your help. She needs 4,000 to cover the entry fee to LA Fashion Week and right now she’s at $3,080.

By contributing to Seeley’s campaign, you will receive a hand written thank you from Seeley with a preview image from the new collection. You will also receive exclusive email updates from Seeley during LA Fashion Week including photos of the events, backstage photos, and stories from Seeley’s week in LA. Any money received above the goal will go directly to the costs associated with American manufacturing. You can contribute here.
