Pokemon At The Washington State Fair

Fans of the Pacific Northwest’s largest fair won’t have to wait until September to wander the fair grounds in search of Pokemon.

The Washington State Fair in Puyallup will briefly open their gates to Pokemon Go players on Monday August 8th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission to the park will be free so hunters can enjoy the many Pokestops and Gyms that the grounds have to offer. While the rides and most of the vendors will remain closed, guests will be able to enjoy a free BBQ meal from noon to 1:30 p.m. while supplies last. Additionally, guests will have the option to purchase the infamous scones from Fisher Scones.

To gain access to this event, guests should use the gold gate located at 110 9th Avenue Southwest.

The fair will open for its regular 21-day season beginning on September 2nd and will run every day except Tuesdays until September 25th.
