A full-service restaurant and bar based on the beloved Chef Sam Choy food truck recently opened in Sea-Tac Airport, in the retail-filled Concourse D hub. Many Hawaiian transplants have settled in Washington, and the popularity of Hawaiian cuisine has become well-established. It’s not just the ceviche-like poke being served. Sam Choy’s menu goes “to the max” by offering dishes like the beloved Locomoco (rice, gravy, and fried egg), teriyaki short ribs, and garlic fried chicken. A breakfast menu served until 10:30 a.m. has fried rice topped with an egg and a sandwich with egg, cheese, and a choice of breakfast meats (yes; Spam is an option). A deli-style to-go counter also is available for when there’s no time to sit between flight times. Located at Concourse D of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
