This week’s Pet of the Week is Shadow, a 6-year-old pit bull mix with a happy personality. Shadow is available for adoption from Kitsap Humane Society.
This handsome boy is very smart and treat motivated and cannot wait to learn new tricks. He enjoys spending time outside chasing balls, playing with toys, sniffing new smells, and zooming around the yard. He would make a great hiking, walking, or running companion.
Shadow may be 6 years old, but he still has a skip in his step and energy to boot. After getting his wiggles out, though, Shadow enjoys some snuggle time. He would make a great sidekick to watch your favorite shows with.
Shadow can be jumpy when excited and would do best in a home (no apartments please) with children over the age of 10. That way he won’t knock anyone over! He would also do best in a home without any other pets, but he may enjoy having dog friends outside the home.
Overall, Shadow is a happy, energetic, silly boy just looking for his forever home. This week’s Pet of the Week, Shadow, is available for adoption from Kitsap Humane Society. Come meet him today!
Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter that rescues and rehomes more than 6,000 pets every year. The Silverdale-based organization has a “lives saved” rate of over 95 percent, and never euthanizes an animal due to lack of space. In addition to caring for and adopting animals, Kitsap Human Society also provides spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County and Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to surrounding municipalities.
