This week’s Pet of the Week is Eli, an adorable 6-year-old tan and white terrier mix with a ton of love to give.
Eli is a super smart guy that loves toys and lots of walks. He adores giving kisses and climbing up into your lap. If you give him butt scratches or take him on hikes, you will quickly become his favorite person.
This sweet pup would do best in a home with a fenced yard, because running around and exploring are two of his favorite things. He also would benefit from a home with no kids under 16 because he just LOVES to play and could play too roughly for young kids. Also, he isn’t a huge fan of being picked up, despite his petite size.
Eli is such a loving and fun boy and would make an excellent exercise buddy. He may benefit from food puzzles and other toys that would stimulate his smart brain. If you want a fun, goofy, active pup to add to your family then come on down to meet Eli today!

Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter that rescues and rehomes more than 6,000 pets every year. The Silverdale-based organization has a “lives saved” rate of over 95 percent, and never euthanizes an animal due to lack of space. In addition to caring for and adopting animals, Kitsap Human Society also provides spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County and Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to surrounding municipalities.
