Meet Chloe, this week’s Pet of the Week, available for adoption from Kitsap Humane Society. Chloe is a German Shepherd mix who seems to be about 5 years old.
This gorgeous girl can be shy with new people, but once she does get comfortable, she loves to snuggle. Chloe is active and enjoys going on walks, playing fetch, and chewing on toys.
Because Chloe can be nervous, she’s looking for a patient adopter who will give her time to settle in and feel safe in her new home. She would do best in a quiet home without a lot of visitors, and without any kids.
Chloe has met other dogs, and seems to be more comfortable around older, calmer dogs. She needs a home (no apartments please) with a securely fenced in yard. If you have the perfect home for Chloe, come in and meet her today!

Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter that rescues and rehomes more than 6,000 pets every year. The Silverdale-based organization has a “lives saved” rate of over 95 percent, and never euthanizes an animal due to lack of space. In addition to caring for and adopting animals, Kitsap Human Society also provides spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County and Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to surrounding municipalities.
