Pet of the Week: Basil

Meet Basil, this week’s Pet of the Week. This one-year-old black lab mix has a goofball personality and plenty of adorable puppy energy.

Basil loves running around the yard, playing fetch, and playing with all his toys. Since he’s a pretty young pup, Basil is still learning his manners. He’s very smart and treat-motivated, though, so with some patience and training from a new owner, Basil will be eager to learn.

This handsome boy needs a home with a fenced yard (no apartments, please) with no children under the age of 16. He absolutely adores people and is just waiting for a loving friend to give him a good home.

Come in and meet Basil today! He is available for adoption at the Kitsap Humane Society in Silverdale.

Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter that rescues and rehomes more than 6,000 pets every year. The Silverdale-based organization has a “lives saved” rate of over 95 percent, and never euthanizes an animal due to lack of space. In addition to caring for and adopting animals, Kitsap Human Society also provides spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County and Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to surrounding municipalities.
