Pet of the Month: Chewy

Pet of the MonthMeet Chewy, an adorable 1-year-old pit bull/Labrador mix with a charming, sweet, and sensitive personality.

He will win you over the second he looks up at you with those puppy dog eyes. Chewy loves butt scratches and will lean on you for more and more pets. This cutie insists that he is a lap dog, despite his size, and loves to cozy up with his people on the couch.

Chewy is reportedly house-trained and also is good about being left alone. He does great with other dogs and would really benefit from a confident dog sibling to help him transition into a new home. His ideal home (no apartments, please) would have a fully-fenced in yard to play in, no cats (they are too much fun to chase) and with kids over the age of 10. Chewy loves kids,  but he may accidentally knock them over when he gets excited.

Chewy is currently spending time in a foster home where he is getting lots of love while he is looking for his forever home. If you are interested in meeting this sweet boy, please email to request and adoption application.
