Now is your chance to participate in a hands-on floral workshop with national outdoor living expert and author Debra Prinzing.
Prinzing is holding a floral workshop from noon to 3 p.m. May 4 on the Gig Harbor waterfront. Whether you want to add some floral flourishes to your backyard or appreciate the flowers at the local farmer’s markets, this workshop can give you a greater appreciation for the natural beauty flowers provide.
Prinzing is a frequent speaker for botanical garden, horticultural society, and flower show audiences, and is a regular radio and television guest. She has lectured at every major flower and garden show in the U.S. and Canada.
Attendees will learn to express their own style, and learn eco-friendly techniques to help them avoid chemicals in their gardening. Additionally, attendees will create lavish arrangements using natural or easy-to-recycle materials like twigs, excelsior, and chicken wire.
Materials will be provided, and light snacks and beverages will be served. The cost to attend is $95. Space is limited. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
