Old Town Tacoma offers a beautiful view of Commencement Bay, a strong sense of local community, and a rich and well-documented history. And now, there are more local businesses for residents and tourists to patronize.
One of them, local coffee, tea, wine, ale, and hand-crafted food purveyor Anthem, recently held a ribbon cutting at its newest location in Old Town.
“Anthem is really excited to be a part of this community,” said Kelsey Hilt, store manager for the new Anthem location. “The ribbon-cutting ceremony was an official way to be welcomed in; the people are great here in Old Town, and we look forward to serving this area.”
Anthem has a lot to offer Old Town, including a menu full of hand-crafted foods (we’re especially smitten with its delectable naan bread pizzas) and its carefully curated tap and wine lists. What makes Anthem really stand out is its commitment to reduced waste and sustainability while also improving the community it serves. Whether that be through offering event space, or donating to local charities, Anthem makes an effort to add something special to every neighborhood it’s in. Old Town is no different.
