A Glazed Grand Opening: Lacey Welcomes Original House of Donuts

Whether you prefer your donuts sprinkled, glazed, or jam-filled, the Original House of Donuts (OHOD) has you covered. Head to the grand opening of the OHOD in Lacey this weekend for a sweet treat. Get there before the free donuts, t-shirts, and other giveaways run out.

“We are so excited to be a part of the Lacey community, since our soft opening in May we have gotten an amazing response from new and returning customers excited to see OHOD in their town,” general manager Manna Webber said in a press release. “It’s because of this support we are able to keep doing what we love, making fresh handmade donuts for over 60 years. We hope to be a part of Lacey for a long long time.”

The new opening — an extension of the Lakewood-based bakery established in 1959 — comes after the closure of its Tacoma location.

Stop by the new location on Pacific Avenue in Lacey from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Sunday.
