Slideshow: Northwest Flower and Garden Show

The Northwest Flower and Garden Show has returned to the Washington State Convention Center through Feb. 15. The display gardens are once again the highlight of the show, and South Sound magazine has chosen “Birds Do It …Bees Do It…” by West Seattle Nursery as its South Sound Magazine Editor’s Choice Award. The theme this year is “romance blossoms.”

From assistant editor Lauren Foster:

“Birds Do It …Bees Do It…” by West Seattle Nursery was sweet like honey. We loved that the designers took the theme of romance in a creative direction. Instead of building a moody or sultry scene, they set the stage of a loving couple coming together to enjoy a few hours gardening and making honey in the sunshine. The garden is fun, sweet and charming – all things a great romance should be. Love is in the details and this garden is full of them.”
