Lynnae’s Gourmet Pickles Test the Waters in Shark Tank

Lynnae’s Gourmet Pickles, the Tacoma pickle company that started shortly after Nalley’s Pickles closed down in July 2012, is about to potentially hit the top shelf. The product will be featured on the ABC hit reality show “Shark Tank,” where entrepreneurs and inventors pitch their products and ideas to wealthy investors.

The family business, started by Aly Cullinane and Lynnae Schneller, has grown in popularity in this region and is primed to reach a larger audience in the season premiere of “Shark Tank,” which airs Friday, Sept. 20 on ABC at 9pm. The pickles are made from a secret recipe created great-grandmother “Toots” Smith. Flavors include “Mrs. Pickles,” a sweet-and-sour dill; “Hot Mama,” which is spiced with jalapeno and has a less sweet flavor; and “Doyle’s Dill, a traditional dill.
