Gig Harbor’s Main & Vine Grand Opening on Feb. 3

Main & Vine, a new concept grocery store, will open at 7 a.m. on Feb. 3 at 5010 Point Fosdick Dr. NW (where QFC used to be) in the Harbor Plaza. The store’s first 250 guests will receive some serious grocery swag.  Employees will be handing out Main & Vine reusable bags, each one filled with a Simple Truth coupon book (valued at $30), a growler, a cedar plank, a cutting board, a spatula, and a magnet among other goodies.

There will also be special events on opening weekend. There will be food and beverage tastings, Kids in the Kitchen classes, and Foodie Facts sessions.  Local musicians and artist will also perform. For more information on Main and Vine see our original article on the store.

Here’s some other store highlights to look forward to:

-Get ready for cheesy goodness. Main & Vine will have specialty cheeses and imported wine.

-There will be a “grab and go” wall with prepared foods and a kitchen that will offer cooked meals like fresh dumplings, house-baked focaccia pizza, and sushi.

-The store’s Brew and Blend Café will serve Cutters Point Coffee Co., plus beer, wine, and spirits at select times.

-A seating area for 100 people with free Wifi. Each table will also have a charging station.

Main & Vine will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
