Uplift Tacoma with Art

The Heart Ball is Happening — Virtually
The Annual Heart Ball that supports the Puget Sound American Heart Association will continue without missing a beat — virtually! The Tacoma and Seattle galas will combine on June 13 online. It will feature Pete and Brandy Nordstrom speaking about how congenital heart disease has affected their family. There also will be a live auction and other opportunities to give. More here.
MultiCare Nurse Honored
Whether you are in the hospital for something great — like having a baby — or you’re there because of illness or injury, nurses make your medical experience better. Jill Willis has been a nurse for 32 years, and for the past four has been at MultiCare Auburn Medical Center’s Family Birth Unit. For the work she has done for patients and colleagues, Willis was recognized with the DAISY Award in May. She received the award for her skills, her care, and for going the extra mile.
