Drive-In Movies in Kent

Get into your comfy clothes, grab blankets and pillows, hop in the car, and head to Kent for a larger-than-life movie experience. The accesso ShoWare Center Outdoor Cinema debuted earlier this week and is playing two movies Wednesdays-Sundays this summer. This week they are showing The Land Before Time and Jurassic Park. More here.

Fair Food To-Go in Puyallup

One of the best things about the fair is the food. Earthquake’s Biggest Burgers loaded with sweet grilled onions, mounds of hot curly fries, classic Krusty Pups, and of course a big bag of warm scones so you can have breakfast for days. Get your favorites to-go at the Washington State Fairgrounds from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 10-12 and July 17-19. Bring food to donate if you go today. Non-perishables will be collected at the beginning of the drive thru and will benefit the Puyallup Food Bank.

Enjoy a Summer Concerts Under the Stars

The first drive-in concert series is set for July 17-19 at the Washington State Fair’s Green Lot and will feature six country acts. Get your tickets here. One ticket is good for the whole car, up to eight people.

Jr Way from the current location. Construction will begin in early 2021 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. Read more about it here.
