Swim with Sharks
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium is reopening the Eye-to-Eye Shark Dives on Sept. 10. Hang out with more than a dozen sharks, learn about their biology, and how to protect them. Dive experts will share the basics of breathing air while underwater and guide guests into a cage submerged in warm water with the sharks.
Find these tasty bites at the Melon Seed Deli in Tacoma’s Oakland neighborhood, 3807 Center St. They also serve fresh sammies, sliders, and crazy good “munchies” like the Real Fritos Deluxe and Not-So-Nachos made with Cool Ranch Doritos.
