Field to Table Dining Series Returns for June

What started out as a dazzling outdoor dining experiment to combat the challenges of the pandemic has turned into an occasion-worthy, exclusive dining experience, returning with celebrated Seattle chefs to Lumen Field. The event transforms the field into a glowing, outdoor open-air dining room for one-of-a-kind multi-course dinners under the stars. PDZA Names Tamandua Pup

Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium keepers have named the 1-month-old tamandua pup Liana. A public debut for Liana has not yet been set — she will make appearances once she’s a bit older, according to PDZA. More here.

Tacoma Dome and Greater Tacoma Convention Center Receive New Indoor Air Quality Technology

Tacoma Venues & Events recently announced that the Tacoma Dome and the Greater Tacoma Convention Center received AtmosAir Solutions bi-polar ionization (BPI) technology to provide an improved indoor environment in both venues. AtmosAir Solutions BPI devices suppress airborne and surface micro-organisms and pathogens, including viruses, bacteria, and mold, and reduces odors as well as unhealthy and irritating volatile organic compounds.
