El Gaucho Steakhouse Teaming Up With Sleight of Hand Cellars for Wine Month

In honor of Washington Wine Month, Tacoma’s venerated El Gaucho Steakhouse asked Sleight of Hand Cellars winemaker Trey Busch to pair his favorite wines with a classic El Gaucho steak menu — and you’re invited!

Sign up by noon on Aug. 19 to pick up your dinner package and wine at El Gaucho in downtown Tacoma. Then, on Aug. 20, connect with Trey and El Gaucho’s team on Zoom as they coach you through tossing your own iconic El Gaucho Caesar salad using the “from scratch” kit’s signature wooden bowl included in your dinner package. $185 plus tax includes dinner for two and two handpicked bottles of wine.

On the menu: Filet mignon with truffle butter, garlic & truffle mashed potatoes, balsamic & shallot marinated broccolini, honey-chipotle roasted sweet corn, and caramelized banana bread pudding and berries with strawberry whipped cream and Bourbon caramel for dessert.
