Donate Food to Frontline Workers

A handful of Downtown Tacoma restaurants have come together to help feed local frontline heroes — medical workers, first responders, grocery store clerks, bus drivers, and more — during the COVID-19 crisis. The program created to do so, called Hero Meals, hopes to deliver 100 meals, three days a week, to these professionals spread throughout the community.

To support the effort, people can donate $25, which will purchase three meals for frontline workers from participating restaurants. These include Happy Belly, Indochine, Pita Pit, Stink, The Swiss, The Koi, Wooden City, and Zeeks Pizza.

Donations can be made here, or by calling any of the participating restaurants directly. Meals will be collected and delivered to workers on the frontline across the city by the Downtown Tacoma Partnership.
