Columbia Bank Celebrates 20 Years by Giving Back

Enjoy free admission to three museums, and nominate a non-profit for a chance at $20,000

Columbia Bank is celebrating their 20th anniversary by giving back to the community in a big way. Now through Sunday, Dec. 8, visitors of the Washington State History Museum, Tacoma Art Museum and the Children’s Museum of Tacoma will enjoy free admission to each museum, courtesy of Columbia Bank.

In addition to one week of free admission to some of your favorite South Sound cultural hubs, Columbia Bank is also celebrating the big 20 with a $20,000 cash giveaway to three nominated non-profit organizations. The organizations are nominated by community members, and the three winners are selected by a panel of Columbia Bank employees.

Organizations eligible for the contest must be community-oriented non-profits headquartered or serving a county where a major Columbia Bank branch is located. The first place prize is $10,000, with two $5,000 prizes awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Contest nomination forms are available online and can easily be submitted in just a few short and simple steps. Nominations are accepted through Sunday, Dec. 8, with the three winners announced on Monday, Dec. 30.

Take a few minutes to nominate your favorite local non-profit organization, and then head to downtown Tacoma and celebrate Columbia Bank’s 20th anniversary with a free visit to the Tacoma Art Museum, Children’s Museum of Tacoma, the Washington State History Museum, or all three!
