City of Lakewood Extends Farmers Market Dates

The City of Lakewood recently announced that the Lakewood Farmers Market will be extended until Oct. 16. The farmers markets will be open from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. and will continue to feature more than 45 vendors. The additional Friday’s include:

  •         Oct. 2, 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. @ Fort Steilacoom Park
  •         Oct. 9, 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. @ Fort Steilacoom Park
  •         Oct. 16, 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. @ Fort Steilacoom Park

Lakewood Farmers Markets will continue to be held at Fort Steilacoom Park parking lot. This new location not only offers plenty of free parking but upholds social distancing requirements and public health directives that help keep the community safe amidst COVID-19. 

There are portable hand washing stations available for public use and signs posted around the market to encourage visitors to be mindful of social distancing. Visitors can purchase items in person or pick up items ordered in advance.
