Beeyond Smoothie is creating a buzz with delicious plant-based, organic coffee, protein shakes, and smoothies.
The joint venture, launched by Calli Glockner and Michael Brown, brings an experienced repertoire of small-business acumen to the island between Custer Road, and 75th Street West in Lakewood.
Glockner, formerly owner and founder of Good Vibes Espresso, Gratitude Grounds Coffee Co., and co-founder at Pink Sugar Espresso, and Brown, owner of the ever-popular EggHole in Kent, offer up their healthy-alternative selection of drinks.
“We really want to serve people something that matters, in a place where everyone is welcome,” Glockner said. “A plant-based option that will really fill them up, and hopefully be a spark for making a healthier life change.”
With both a convenient drive-thru and walk-up window, customers can sample menu offerings like the mint chocolate chip-inspired Be-Victorious. It’s made with spirulina — a nutrient-filled antioxidant — mint, banana, agave, protein, and oat milk, but without all the added sugar of ordering an actual mint chocolate chip blend.
Look for food options to be added in the future, but buzz by now for organic Valhalla espresso, and matcha teas that are full of organic fresh flavors. And, try the smoothies and shakes that taste too good to be true.
