An Immortal Pumpkin Patch

When fall rolls around, we know there’s nothing quite like going to the pumpkin patch. Even more special, however, is visiting a “patch” where all of the pumpkins are made of glass.

If you’ve never experienced this magic during a South Sound fall, make this year the time that you do. Tacoma Glassblowing Studio sponsors Northwest Glass Pumpkins Patches each year, when not-to-miss displays of glass pumpkins are for sale at locations across the region through September and October.

Each pumpkin is uniquely handmade by a local glassblower. Pumpkin patches usually have between 1,000 and 2,000 glass pumpkins of all shapes and sizes on display and available for purchase. Admission to the patches is free of charge.

Check out the schedule and visit a patch near you!
