Last Podcast on the Left

Where is the first place you remember traveling to?
Western Portugal at a very young age. Although I was born in New Jersey, my parents were Portuguese, and we often took family vacations there. I look forward to visiting again sometime, and seeing majestic clifftop views of the Atlantic Ocean.

What is the scariest place you’ve ever visited?
The Villisca Ax Murder House in Iowa. It was the site of a horrific crime, and something about the property just doesn’t feel right.

What do you do when you aren’t traveling or writing?
I work in the video game industry.

What are you working on right now?
Developing a podcast, researching an unofficial follow-up to Weird Washington; and creating graphics for an upcoming game, Hero U: Rogue to Redemption.

When did you first know that you wanted to write?
Around my middle-school years, when my affinity for storytelling developed.

This is our January issue — any New Year’s resolutions?
To procrastinate less.

Do you think you’ll keep them?
Maybe later.
