A Look Back in Time: Rainbows of Ribbons

Students at Tacoma’s Annie Wright School celebrated May Day in 1935 with music, sports, the crowning of the May Queen (that year was Miss Marian Guyles), and a dance with a rainbow of ribbons that were eventually woven around and around the maypole.
