Northeast Tacoma History Bike Tour

Wrap up Tacoma’s Historic Preservation Month this Friday with a Tacoma History Bike Tour. Meet your fellow cyclists and  guides from Pretty Gritty Tours beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Browns Point Elementary School (1526 51st Street Northeast) and tour the historic sites of Tacoma, to include Lighthouse Park and Dash Point Beach before ending at Browns Point Diner (6620 East Side Drive Northeast).

Maritime Gig Festival

Gig Harbor residents and nonresidents alike will love the celebration of all things aquatic during Maritime Gig Festival June 1 and 2. Kick things off at 8 a.m. this Saturday with the Kiwanis pancake breakfast, followed by a family fun run, and the Yo’ Ho’ Harbor Grande Parade. And that’s just the first few hours. The entire weekend is jam-packed with vendors, concerts, and family-friendly fun.

Farmers Market at Point Ruston

A scoop from Ice Cream Social, a waterfront ride on a Lime Scooter, a romp in the fountain, and a slice at Farrelli’s: Just when you think Point Ruston can’t get any better, the popular destination becomes the newest host of the Tacoma Farmers Market. Running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Sunday, come out to enjoy all the venue and the market has to offer.
