3 to See: Week of Mar. 18

‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’

We know a month-long run of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown sounds too good to be true, but we promise we’re not going to pull a Lucy on you and yank that football away at the last second. It’s for real. Beginning tomorrow and running through Sunday, April 14, catch your favorite Peanuts characters at the Centerstage Theatre in Federal Way. Show times vary, purchase tickets online.

Fieldhouse Flea Market

The 51st annual Fieldhouse Flea Market is back this Saturday at the Memorial Field House. Sponsored by the University of Puget Sound Women’s League, this annual event will feature everything from 100-year-old antiques to freshly baked bread sourced from more than 75 local vendors. Proceeds from admission will go toward scholarships for Puget Sound students in need. Tickets for early entry are $15 from 8 to 10 a.m., general admission is $5 until 4 p.m.

Pysanky: Ukrainian Easter Eggs

With Easter fast approaching, you might be dreading another season of dying eggs with your brood. How about a new take on that old tradition? From 1 to 4 p.m. this Saturday, consider attending this unique workshop, during which you’ll learn how to create Pysanky, or intricate colorful designs created on egg shells through the layering of beeswax and dyes. Ages 12 and over are welcome at this Auburn Maker Space event. Pre-registration is required.
