South Sound Sustainability Expo

If you’ve been wanting to start living a more eco-friendly life, attending the 12th annual South Sound Sustainability Expo this Saturday is step in the right direction. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with more than 100 local businesses and organizations dedicated to creating an environmentally sustainable community. This event is free and open to the public.

Washington Beer Open House

This Saturday, more than 100 Washington breweries will open their doors to give beer lovers behind the scenes access. From noon to 5 p.m., discover new breweries, try unique craft brews, talk to the brewers themselves, and meet some new craft beer loving friends. Activities will vary at each participating location. Visit Washington Beer Commission online for a full list of participating breweries.

ESB Bridal Showcase

Brides and grooms to be: Are you still looking for that perfect wedding venue? From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Sunday, head over to the Environmental Services Building on 64th Street West in University Place for the sixth annual ESB Bridal Showcase. With mimosas in hand, you’ll tour the building, take in the splendor of the Puget Sound, and meet vendors like Paper Luxe, X-Group Catering, Jonz Catering, Brassfield’s Salon and Spa, Chambers Bay Grill, and more.
