3 to See Week of Feb. 14

Tacoma Night Market

If you haven’t been to the Tacoma Night Market yet, what are you waiting for? From 5 to 10 p.m. this Saturday, come out and browse the wares of an entire community of local artisans and makers. There will be live music, drinks, food, and more.

Snowshoeing Mt. Rainier National Park

Truly enjoy the winter wonderland with an REI-led snowshoe hike through Mount Rainier National Park with views of Mt. Rainer, Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, and the Tatoosh Range. The event takes from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. this Sunday. Snowshoes and poles will be provided and lunch will be catered by a local bakery. Transportation also is provided to and from the park trailhead. Tickets and information are available here.

Conversation Series: Tell Your Bike Story

If you are a female cyclist and you’re still looking for your tribe, consider checking out this event hosted by the Tacoma-based female cycling group known as theVelofemmes. From 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, pedal yourself over to Black Fleet Brewing Taproom & Kitchen, tell your best bike story, and maybe even make a new cycling buddy.
