3 to See: Week of Apr. 11

Washington State Spring Fair

Can’t wait till fall for thrilling rides, adorable baby animals, giant slides, Motorsport Mayhem shows, and those sweet, sweet scones? All the things you love about the month-long fair season can be enjoyed in the spring, too. The Washington State Fair in Puyallup is back this Thursday through Sunday. Get your tickets online or at the gate.

Sewing to Sowing

If there was ever a time to get your hands a little dirty, it’s definitely the springtime. At 11 a.m. on Saturday, bring your little ones out to the Fort Nisqually Living History Museum to learn all about the history of agriculture, afterward, they’ll sow their own seeds and make art out of natural materials. Later, watch as museum volunteers demonstrate various hand-sewing techniques and operate a vintage sewing machine.

Pet Photos with the Easter Bunny

The only thing cuter than photos of your child with the Easter Bunny? Photos of your puppy with the Easter Bunny. From 6 to 8 p.m. this Sunday, bring your dog, cat, lizard, or bird out to The Outlet Collection Seattle in Auburn and let them cozy up to the bunny. You’ll treasure the memory — and the photo — for years to come.
