La Paloma Virtual Market & Scavenger Hunt

La Paloma Marketplace, one of Tacoma’s first artisan markets, is reigniting its Children’s Market virtually this weekend, April 10-11. The market will be kid-led and operated by La Paloma Marketplace’s owner, Molly Alvarado, and her 8-year-old grandson, Roman. There will be art for sale, music, and lots of fun. Learn more.

Walk Around Tacoma

Downtown: On the Go! launched its five-part virtual walking series around Tacoma April 7. Due to COVID-19, the Walk Tacoma 2021 series is available virtually on the free GeoTourist app. The first virtual walk took place on the waterfront. The next one, set for May 5, will focus on downtown murals. Learn more.

Childhood’s End Gallery

Olympia’s Childhood’s End Gallery has a new and moving exhibit, Picturing the Pandemic. It marks one year since the first recorded death due to COVID-19 in the United States.
