3 to See: Virtual Orchestra Concert, Earth Day, and Spring Fair

See a Virtual Symphony Concert

What does music mean during a global pandemic? Music director Wesley Schulz believes that through music we can better understand ourselves and our emotions. The Auburn Symphony Orchestra’s new virtual concert, On the Nature of Daylight, will take you on an emotional journey. The concert will be available for free streaming from April 22 through May 22. Celebrate Earth Day in Kent

Get involved in Kent conservation efforts and register to join a volunteer cleaning of Clark Lake Park on Saturday, April 17. This year, volunteers will be working to remove weeds and non-native and invasive plant species. Volunteers may register as individuals or groups of 10 or less. The event will be capped at 40 total volunteers. Social distancing and masking will be in place, and all volunteers will be subject to a temperature check before the event. Learn more here.

Head to the Spring Fair

This is the last week of the Spring Fair at the Washington State Fairgrounds. Enjoy the opportunity to get out of your car, shop at a variety of vendor booths, eat delicious fair food, and sit in the stands for experiences like Racing Pigs and DockDogs. Buy tickets here.
