Paella Cooking Class and Feast

If you’re a big fan of Spanish cuisine and want to learn how to make it yourself, be sure to head down to STINK in Tacoma this weekend for a special paella cooking class. The three-hour class will feature demonstrations and hands-on work using the freshest ingredients and tried-and-true methods. It will conclude with a delicious feast where you will get to enjoy some delicious seafood paella, salad greens with house-made dressing, fresh-baked bread, a white wine of your choice, and a complimentary dessert. Be sure to bring an apron as well as your sharpest knife. The 21+ class will be taking place from 12 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 8. Sign up and disclose any food allergies or concerns beforehand. Start off Spring with a Custom Terra Cotta Pot

Spring is just around the corner, and we have a fun, creative craft, perfect for the season. From 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, come paint and decorate three of your own Terra Cotta pots (perfect for your newest plant babies) and enjoy some yummy scones, coffee, and tea while you work. Held at ShannyChic Design in Puyallup, all materials will be provided. Tickets can be purchased here for $50.

Laughing Mater with Laurie Kilmartin

Enjoy some laughs and entertainment this weekend at this month’s Laughing Mater featuring headliner Laurie Kilmartin. With previous appearances on CONAN, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Comedy Central, and SHOWTIME, Kilmartin has been widely recognized for her stand-up. She currently works as a staff writer for CONAN and has her own podcast, The Jackie and Laurie Show, with fellow comic Jackie Kashian. This 18+ event will be held at Honey at Alma Mater on Saturday, March 7 starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $22 in advance or $25 at the door. Visit this website to purchase and for more info.
