3 to See: Mozart, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage, and a Flea Market

Mozart Meets Stravinsky

The Auburn Symphony began its season with performances of small chamber groups, gradually increasing the number of musicians for each show. Now, the grand finale: the full orchestra together again. To close out its 24th year, the symphony will present Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s acclaimed “Jupiter” and Igor Stravinsky’s “Danses concertantes.” Watch the performance virtually tonight.

Asian & Pacific Islander Military Heritage

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Celebrate by joining Tacoma’s Asia Pacific Cultural Center as it honors military service people through Facebook Live performances and activities from artists within the Philippine, Korean, Samoan, and Japanese communities. More here

Tacoma Sunday Market

Tacoma would like to reintroduce itself. After a year of staying indoors, the city is ready to welcome summer fun with the Tacoma Sunday Market, a place to hunt for vintage clothing, meet local artists and makers, and sample goodies from local chefs and food trucks. This Sunday’s season opener includes a $1 entry fee that will go toward Lincoln High School programs.
