3 to See: Hikes, Tea Pawties, and Scavenger Hunts

Take Dad Up, Up, and Away

Starting June 19, the Mount Rainier Gondola will reopen after being closed since March due to COVID-19. Head to Crystal Mountain this weekend and take dad on a scenic ride up 2,400 feet to the summit where you can take in the spectacular views of the Cascades and hike, picnic, and take a lot of photos! Make sure to purchase tickets in advance online, and learn more here.

Tiny Teatime

Get ready for the pawty of the year! Wet Noses Dry Paws — a Tacoma-based indoor doggie daycare — is hosting a tiny pup celebration supplied with biscuits, costumes, and more. Bring your furry companion (must be under 30lbs) and head on over this Saturday, June 20 from 12 to 1 p.m. for a pawsitively good time. This event will be free for current members and $5 for new members. Click here for additional information.

Go on a Scavenger Hunt

Let’s Roam makes going on a scavenger hunt in your city (or in your own home) easy with an app and your phone. Local trivia, riddles, and clues will lead you to where you need to go. Each city scavenger activity will take about two hours of walking. Explore Tacoma, Seattle, Bellevue, and more. This is a great activity for kids, too. More here.
