Have a Hoot at the Harvest Festival

Celebrate the Hood Canal harvest season at this year’s Harvest Festival, put on by Alderbrook Resort & Spa. Enjoy pumpkin carving, appetizers, brunch, and live music. Hood Canal Brewery will be providing beer on tap throughout the event. The festival offers free admission and takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 19 at the Union City Market.

Tukwila Halloween Carnival Can be a Ghoulishly Good Time

Come out to the Tukwila Community Center to collect candy, play games, embark on a haunted walk, and more this October at the Tukwila Halloween Festival. Entry is $2 per child or free with the donation of a pair of socks to help support the Spirit of Giving program. The carnival will run from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 24.

Get Carried Away at the Port of Tacoma

Learn more about one of the largest container ports in North America and some of the biggest cranes on the west coast with Port of Tacoma Oct. 26. The two hour tour uncovers aspects of the port which often go overlooked, and illustrates important aspects of jobs related to international trade. Can’t make it to this event?
