Mad Hatter Gin + Tea Party

Don’t be late to this very important date! The Mad Hatter Gin & Tea Party, as part of the Hands On Children’s Museum’s Adult Swim Series, is a Wonderland inspired event that features crazy croquet, curious cups of tea, and even a specialty Dillinger’s “Drink Me” cocktail. As you make your way through the museum, you can enjoy beats by DJ Mia Ohms, try the looking glass optical illusion photo booth, create your own hat, and so much more. This event will be taking place from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28. A 21+ event, tickets can be purchased for $24 here or for $28 at the door.

February Winter Warmers

Watch renowned glass working masters Jenny Pohlman, Sabrina Knowles, and other Hilltop Artists at work this weekend with amazing glass art demonstrations in the Jason Lee hot shop. Featuring savory soups and bread from Happy Belly and Infinite Soups, warm beverages, and s’mores, this event will be sure to warm you up. Happening this Friday, Feb. 28 from 6-9 p.m., tickets are $50 each and benefit Hilltop Artists’ youth glass art programs.

Native Plant Walk-Up Sale

If you’ve got a green thumb and a passion for all things plants, be sure to visit the Native Plant Walk-Up Salehappening this weekend. Featuring various plant favorites including Douglas fir, bigleaf lupine, red osier dogwood, and numerous others for reasonable prices, this sale will be sure to get your spring season started off right. This event will take place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29 at the Pierce Conservation District warehouse in Puyallup. Be sure to get there early before they sell out!
