3 to See: Booth Trick-or-Treating, Catffeinated’s Festival, and a Fundraiser for Animals

Trick-or-Treat Retail Market

Tacoma landmark Freighthouse Square will host booth vendors all weekend in a trick-or-treat marketplace. Families are welcome to come dressed up in costumes while safely trick-or-treating and shopping at distanced vendors alongside the food court. See details on the Frieghthouse Marketplace event page.

Catffeinated Fall Festival

This cat café on 6th Avenue in Tacoma has more than autumn to celebrate at this parking lot festival — it’s also Catffeniated’s third anniversary. Over 100 cats have been adopted since the café’s inception. Saturday’s festivities will include local vendors, raffles, giveaways, and special drinks. Visit the fall festival event page for specifics.

LOVEBash Fundraiser

On Saturday, Oct. 10, Pasado’s Safe Haven in Monroe will live-stream its annual (and free) virtual gala event and biggest fundraiser of the year. Early bidding for experiences and items — like personal paintings of your pet — is open now. Proceeds will go toward education, advocacy, and rehabilitation for neglected animals, including pups at Pasado’s Dog Towne, a new secondary sanctuary for rescued dogs. Register for the gala and start bidding here.
