Frozen Fro-Yo Party

Just “let it go” and enjoy frozen yogurt and Frozen themed craft activities, goody bags, and more from 1 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 9 at Black Bear Yogurt’s South Hill location. Free 4-ounce frozen yogurt coupons will be handed out to children while they last, and there will be a Disney vacation planning booth courtesy of The Enchanted Traveler.

Veteran’s Day Observance

You don’t have to be a service member or veteran to appreciate the Washington State History Museum’s Veterans Day commemoration focused on the history of female servicemembers, but you do have to be a veteran (and up to five of their family members) to gain free admission with identification. While you’re there, visit the Write253 Pop Up Print Shop where printmakers and Tacoma poet Abby E. Murray, author of How to be Married After Iraq, have collaborated to create a special print for Veteran’s Day. Print is free with admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 10.
