3 to See: A Chat with Karamo Brown, Ocean Art, and a Pumpkin Carving Kit

The Muse Hour With Karamo Brown

Tacoma Arts Live will chat with Queer Eye‘s Karamo Brown this week for its four-part, virtual Muse Hour series. A moderated question and answer session with Brown and the audience will follow the live conversation. Get tickets here.

Pumpkin-Carving Kit

Starting this Saturday at 11 a.m., the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce is putting on a pumpkin-carving kit drive-through event. It will unfold on a first-come, first-served basis. After you’ve finished decorating your pumpkin at home, share a picture on the Downtown Auburn Cooperative Main’s Facebook page for a chance to win a prize. See more event details here.

Ocean Art at Thea Foss

Tacoma Ocean Fest seeks to honor and respect the ocean through science and art. Ocean Art Day, set for this Saturday at Foss Waterway Seaport, provides an opportunity to see art installations in person, watch live painting, and chat with featured artists like Dean Burke, Fergus Hyke, and Lourdes Jackson. The installations make for the first event at the maritime museum since reopening to the public last Friday. More information can be found on the museum’s website.
