Boat Parade
Help Gig Harbor shine bright this Saturday evening during the Lighted Boat Parade. All boats are invited to decorate with lights and float in the parade, making two laps around the harbor. Homes and businesses surrounding the harbor are encouraged to decorate. See further details and sign up to participate on the Gig Harbor Yacht Club website.
Snowshoeing
You don’t have to be an expert at winter sports to get out and enjoy the snow and mountains. There are several trails to choose from when snowshoeing on Mount Rainier, from short beginner treks to more strenuous hikes. Victorian Christmas
Tacoma’s Fort Nisqually Living Museum will host a virtual Victorian Christmas musical performance on Dec. 12. Interpreters will share research on the historical music of Puget Sound and the Pacific Northwest in the 1800s along with a holiday music performance.
