In 2013, Tacoma resident Emily Welbourn suffered a stroke while running a 3.5 mile race. She was just 27 years old. Today, Welbourn is running marathons.  Just three months after the stroke, she was back running on the treadmill and on the road to recovery.

Welborne was featured on the Today Show this morning to share her story for Stroke Awareness Month.
