From Starbucks and Tully’s to Seattle’s Best, coffee is clearly a morning must in the Evergreen State. Mix it with the flavors of beer and you’re in for a serious treat.
Harmon Brewing Company is launching its new line of craft-brewed coffee drinks. Hop Coffee will offer a variety of signature creations with syrup bases derived from four of Harmon’s craft beers:
– Mt. Takhoma Blonde with Orange Zest
– Pinnacle Peak Pale Ale with Vanilla Bean
– Pt. Defiance IPA with house made Torani caramel sauce
– Puget Sound Porter with house made chocolate sauce.
To create the unique blend of coffee and beer, Harmon co-owners Pat Nagle and Carole Ford worked closely with Bluebeard Coffee Roasters owner Kevin McGlockin. For the richest taste, the Bluebeard Coffee beans are selected on their ability to complement the Harmon beer syrups.
Hop Coffee will be a full-service coffee stand in the Harmon Tap Room, presenting the complete espresso experience in addition to the new beer-based line. It will open at 6am every day to fulfill the coffee morning must.
Hop Coffee is one of many recent innovations at Harmon, which will be introduced at the company’s celebratory Progressive Party 1-6pm July 26 at Harmon locations.
